ECI can provide rotor pole insulation for new and refurbish work for hydroelectric rotor poles: pole collars, groundwall side and end insulation, and insulating filler sheet.
ECI uses its own proprietary insulating material designed and tested to exceed Class F (155 °C) requirements. Our insulation components can accommodate all existing and new designs while maintaining excellent mechanical and electrical properties. Collars and sheet insulation can be provided in one piece up to 12 feet long, with the possibility of imbedded molded Teflon anti-friction film. Angled collar sections are also available.
Using in-mold manufacturing methods, important costs savings can be made when compared to machining collars from stock sheet material. Please contact our sales office for more information and pricing.
